The Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) is administered by the Wyoming Department of Family Services (DFS).   They contract with Wyoming LIEAP Services to provide eligibility assessments for the program statewide.  

The program helps eligible people pay their home heating bills November 1st through June 15th for regulated fuels (natural gas/electricy) and October 1 for nonregulated fuel (propane, coal, wood, etc.).  Elders (60 years and older), families with young children in the home (5 years and younger) and people with disabilities receive the highest priority for this program.  We will be accepting applications from now until midnight Feb 29th, 2012.

All persons eligible for LIEAP are also eligible for weatherization.   For more about the weatherization program visit
